REWIRING BEAUTY BASICS
Infusing their brainchild For All Beauty with the science that nourishes skin naturally, Vinusha Kasireddy and Vyedehi Madiraju tell MOSAIC what inspired them to craft a beauty brand that believes in rerouting to the soil
A quiet, but vital shift seems to be reshaping the Indian beauty industry where buzzwords like roots, rain, and responsibility are engineering this evolution distinctly divorced from the otherwise cluttered space of chemical overload and excessive consumption.
At the heart of this change is For All Beauty, conceived by Vinusha Kasireddy and Vyedehi Madiraju with the belief that beauty potions should not just care for people, but also responsibly nurture the planet — a brand demonstrating transparency, sustainability, and ethical living in the world of skin care.
For All Beauty took shape when the founders set out on a mission to challenge conventional beauty standards and create vegan, thoughtfully-designed plastic and cruelty-free products, after being constantly on a search for safe, gentle, and genuinely clean cosmetics. Deeply inspired by nature, the innovative and environment-friendly creations incorporate years of observing evolving beauty cultures across India and the US. From plant-based formulations to pioneering stackable packaging concepts, For All Beauty is championing the harmonious union of luxury, convenience and sustainability. Vinusha lets us in on the brand ideology.
MOSAIC: ForAll Beauty is redefining clean beauty in India. What inspired it?
Vinusha: I think it largely stemmed out of the exasperation we felt seeing synthetic-heavy options on store shelves. Vyedehi and I wanted something pure, something that didn’t make us choose between looking good, doing good, and feeling good. We both loved nature and believed that what we put on our skin should be as safe as what we intake. That desire to deliver purpose-driven beauty options turned us from just friends to business partners.
MOSAIC: How does ForAll Beauty ensure its products are truly sustainable?
Vinusha: We don’t cut corners, ingredients are plant-based and sourced in manners that respect local communities and biodiversity. Our packaging is reusable, recyclable or biodegradable, and we’re constantly exploring new ways to shrink our carbon footprint. The refills reduce packaging needs and encourage customers towards zero waste. Sustainability is built into every decision we make from sourcing and formulating, to shipping, the company’s ethos takes pride in having a product range that is cruelty-free, organic, 100 per cent vegan, water-less, sustainably-packaged, gender-neutral and authentic.
MOSAIC: While plant-based is a popular concept in fashion now, what distinguishes For All Beauty strategically?
Vinusha: Plants have provided remedies for centuries — they’re gentle, effective, and belong in our kitchens and traditions. Skincare is no exception! When we use plant-derived ingredients, we’re not only protecting our skin from harsh chemicals but also our waterways and soil from synthetic pollution. For All Beauty’s holistic approach respects people as well as the planet. Natural formulas mean fewer irritants and allergens, and less risk of long-term harm. For the planet, it means less toxic waste as well as plastic. The impact adds up: small choices, big differences.
MOSAIC: The attention to ingredients makes the brand unique. Would you like to pin-point on any product?
Vinusha: Our cream contours contain papaya seed oil, passion seed oil, and olive squalane, which hydrate and nourish skin. Our multi-coloured face cream, made with plant oils, while being gentle on skin doesn’t clog pores. These oils also protect the skin from environmental stress and toxins.
At For All Beauty, the ingredients power glow in the make-up, they hydrate skin, control acne and renew skin by repairing dullness. Beyond this, the brand respects individuality and leaves a lighter footprint on Mother Earth.
MOSAIC: What’s your advice to those toying with the idea of switching to sustainable beauty?
Vinusha: They must believe in the power of conscious choices. Anyone opting for nature-derived products that are planet-focused, customer-centric — For All Beauty is transparent about these specifications; is playing a part in an environmentally relevant story. This sets new standards for what beauty can mean and by choosing brands diametrically opposite to the ones trading in chemical-heavy products, one is encouraging the same in their circle of influence.
